I replaced my cylinder head but the one that I purchased did not have a place for the metal breather pipe My question is this is what is causing it not to turn over?

Do you mean this thing?
If so no, that's a pollution device and would have nothing to do with it. You better be sure the piston isn't hitting the valves. You sure you have it timed right?

Lets check your timing take off the valve cover and line up the CAM like in this picture then take a picture of the flywheel to see the pointer on the case and where it is pointing to on the flywheel. Only way to be sure you timed it right. Alleyoop

Is that your old one and the new does not have the PAIR connection right? If so GOOD because most take that crap off. So your good, NOW that valve had a VACUUM HOSE CONNECTED to it MAKE sure that VACUUM hose is plugged up otherwise if not may be why it won't start. Alleyoop

Great so make sure the vacuum hose is plugged up what went to that valve. And yes good on the cam picture now leave it like that and take a picture of the flywheel to see where the case pointer is pointing on the flywheel.

If you pull the plug can you rotate the variator fan counter clockwise with your hands? Give it a push but DON'T force it. Rich

Rich ONE thing AT A TIME RICH, the cam is aligned good so let him first take a picture of the flywheel and lets check the timing on the flywheel Then if good we can test your suspicion. Alleyoop

Your timing is OFF BRO. It is on the "F" which is way advanced see the "T" below it has to point to the "T" or best if there is a line below the 'T" there: Like this: Now hold on and I will tell you how to get it timed: OK HEre is how you get it in time you will have to loosen the 4 bolts to move the chain on the cam. It is off by 1 or two chain links.
