Tags are 3 years back. That's the killer on this one. But I think I'm about to pick up new regular gig that will let me do this easily. Plus, I know someone at the DMV...  |

In New York DMV records are purged after five years. As long as there's a title you should be OK.

they used to do the same way here in cali,,,no more,,,the et cost was $710 to register,,,it was out 6 years,,,,ouch,,,money grubbin bitches,,,they can't balance their checkbook so the rest of us schlubs have to pay more to cover the budget shortfalls

I might be able to claim military exemption on it and just re-register it. I'm really hoping that works. Hawaii costs a fortune but the system can be worked a little. Since so many have homes here and on the mainland, you can put plates on hold for up to 5 years before they start charging you huge amounts of green.

If that bike was around here it would have been mine 15 min after I found it! I have a checking account I have had for the last 4-5 years that I have yet to write a check on just for that purpose! (spontaneous bike/scooter purchases)

I used to have 'Play money' until I moved to Hawaii. Now it's pay the rent, then maybe I can put gas in my bike if I'm lucky. If I made this kind of money on the mainland, people would think I was rich, but not in Hawaii...

HA! we figured it out. The tank was full of crud and kept clogging up the carbs.
I did such an amazing cleaning job on them too... Then find out the tank was loaded with this... this... stuff. Totally nasty. Flushed the tank and no more problems. My friends Ducati is running like a champ.
