two items I think are important enough to share: If you search CraigsList for different items as I do, searching locally only really limits the results. If you want to expand those results use a website called Search Temptest www.searchtempest.com/the results are from all CL locations. btw- that is how I found the scooter I bought The second item has to do with the law passed yesterday by the SEC as it relates to Money Market Accounts. here is a link to a youtube audio, just ignore the promotional part

I don't care for it. On craigs list you can eliminate all dealers who mostly do not list price, you eliminate those with out pictures, and you can search for a motorcycle between $2450 and $3998 if that's what you have to spend. Anyone that goes on craigs will find you have thousands of listing you do have to go thru unless you put in some perimeters. I am just not going to call every dealer listing just to find out if the bike is in my price range.
Tempest might be just fine for some folks searching for other than motorcycles. Scooters again might be ok as there are so few compared to bikes.

there's no Gallery option where pictures automatically appear as you scroll down...
my verdict: they need to improve more, didn't pass my standards

I found my Fashion with Tempest. Having it located in my family's backyard was a plus.

No, no. I grew up on Long Island and moved upstate in 2001. My parents and friends are still on Long Island. I noticed the Fashion on a casual Tempest search on Long Island and e-mailed my friend, who's a rider (Harley, no less). He works near where it was located. He pronounced it sound so I called my parents. They fronted me the money until I got them a check. My buddy picked up the money, got the scooter and kept it in his garage and mailed me the title so I could register it. I then drove down to Long Island with my wife and the plate, picked up the Fashion and was treated to a fabulous bagel breakfast, a Long Island specialty. Rode it 200 miles home and the rest is history. A network is a fabulous thing.

It's a great and horrible thing at the same time,,, automotive and motorcycle machining has never been better,,,general accuracy has taken on a whole new meaning,,, it's almost a moot point to hotrod anything ,,the manufacturing techniques are so good that almost all the old tricks have been done already and new thought architecture is paving new avenues to more power with less fuel , As an employer I hear all the stories every excuse , every duck and dive to get out of work ,,, some employees work harder at dodging their duties than to actually do the job at hand and the insurances , work comp,, ect ad nauseaum ,, sick days ,,unions,,, blah blah blah I could type for an hour,, so I get the robot thing,, it sucks but they are better at tasks than most people,,But that's the wave of the future and they will get even better

If you like pancakes, but hate how they sit heavy, then please enjoy our family favourite pancake recipe for over 40 years. They are very light, extras can be made and kept in the fridge. Princess Ann's Pancakes This mixture makes about 24, 3 inch diameter pancakes Ingredients:3 Tablespoons butter 3 Tablespoons sugar 3 Eggs 1 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups buttermilk Instructions:Separate the eggs into yolks and whites Melt the butter on low heat 1. Melt butter on low heat, set aside adding the sugar. Then add the egg yokes to the mix, stirring and set aside. 2. In a bowl mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together slowly stirring the mix until all 4 ingredients are thoroughly blended. Blend in the previous mixture of butter, sugar and yolks. Mixture will be lumpy. 3. Pour into the bowl the buttermilk, stir mixture by spoon then use mixer on high. This combined mixture is only slightly lumpy. 4. Beat the three egg whites until stiff. Add the egg whites folding until mixed completely into rest of the ingredients. 5. Add to a hot grill making the size you want your pancakes, turning over when the pancakes have bubbled then again when cooked to your desired brownness. Enjoy with your favorite syrup. Best syrup we have found is Boysenberry by Smuckers.
