I have a Lincoln 90amp wire welder. It is great for smaller stuff. Use .035 wire for best results. It cost more than the harbor freight brand, but has been well worth it. I'm Leary of harbor freight electric stuff as I've had to return several items. Just my luck though. Other people I know have had good luck with there items.

I bought one if the lil HF 90ampere welders with a coupon for $87. I'm a iron worker by trade and have been metal fabricating for over 20yrs. I would've never even thought of one till I desperately needed a welder. I have to admit I'm impressed. It actually is 120amp welder which us good for up to 3/16 plate in a single pass. Thicker material more prep & more passes. It says it'll run .035, but barely. Stick with the .030 E-71T and it does a pretty damn good job for 87 bucks. I'd also recommend going to your local welding supply store to get your wire, preferably an American made wire. Its actually less expensive than HF's wire which spent 3 months at sea and who knows how many yrs in a warehouse. I've had mine less than a month & I've already ran close to 10lbs through it. I got my 87 dollars out of it so I'm happy. Check out Project-X : Cannonball 113 in customs.
