I'm glad your brothers pride was hurt more than he was . It almost sounds like a jackazz video you described . Has he taken a dump in a display toilet in the plumbing store ?

Easy Plant, we're all concerned about your brother and hope he gets well soon. It's a forum, the guys are going to say what they think, no offense meant. I gotta agree, stay off the sidewalk even if it is legal. I get out there on the road and plant (HAR!) my arse in the middle of the lane. It's safer than a sidewalk. I also gotta say your brother ain't wrapped real tight. Running out of oil, broken shock, related to you, lots of problems there. He needs to start thinking like his brother the fern. It's amazing how a bike can spill and not get trashed, I've never understood that. I think the handlebar and foot peg protect it. Anyway, the guys mean no harm, just opinionated. Rich Well, I'm not saying that ALL sidewalks are safe. The one that I use is a lot safer than the road. I ride on the road most of the time but this is just a single sidewalk I ride on because the traffic on this particular road is aggressive. Regardless of the legality I find that I'm safer on this particular sidewalk. Nobody ever travels on this one anyways. And trust me, sometimes I curse my relation to him But he's my brother. I have to deal with him!

Somehow this thing just escaped almost all damage. It doesn't even look like it was downed. How it didn't break anything, I don't know. I just picked it up from the ground, put it on its stand, checked for any leaking gas and obvious mechanical damage, and since there was none, just started it back up. We rode home shortly after. When we got home we cleaned up his wounds and put gauze them. I felt like a doctor without a medical degree. I'm not alone in this world!

Maybe he should be restricted to electric bicycles. They're limited to 15mph and accelerate rather slowly.

A sidewalk is called that because they are put along side the road to WALK on, to avoid motor vehicles and to be safe walking home.
Stunts like that are why law makers keep making laws and the next thing coming will be to make you get a vehicle license and have insurance so you have to follow the laws for cars and motorcycles and stay in the street.

Laws are meant to be broken, just don't get caught,, people breaks laws even inside the Convent..
if certain number of babies are born everyday, there should be the same number of people that dies everyday.. that is called balancing the ecosystem. let the people who wants to die, die and let live who wants to live., the bigger the population, the bigger the competition.
we need the Faceplant brothers to maintain the earth's ecosystem.
die... if need to

They're kids. I raced motocross at that age. We all get stupid out of our systems at that age when you heal from crashes overnight. Do it now Face. The thumps will be much harder on the KZ1400 in your future.

Laws are meant to be broken, just don't get caught,, people breaks laws even inside the Convent.. That reminds me of what the neighbor lady, a Hmong immigrant, said the other day. "It's not illegal to steal. It's illegal to get caught. That is why your punished". An idea I heard while serving in Viet Nam.
I guess some of the young still adhere to that.

It's amazing to read someone actually encouraging someone to do stupid crap that could maim or puff out your life, just because he did some stupid crap. Guess the saying says it all, "stupid says what stupid does". It is not a pleasant site and feeling having to pick up a broken body. I just hope they have learned something and be more careful going forward. Alleyoop
