Does anyone know where to find or has built a lifting sling for a scooter? I want to lift the scooter and put it on the back of my Trawler. Thanks,

I have a 4' 2x6 and my trailer is real low . What I did was to take an old boat trailer and reverse the axle putting it on top of the leaf springs. Then replaced the 12" wheels with 8". A 4x8 sheet of 3/4" on top. Heavy eye hooks every couple feet on both sides. I can haul stuff a lot easier than I could with a pickup.

Ok Guys, I have a large boom to lift it onto the boat. I just wanted to know if there was any slings made for lifting the scooter and what I should use as lift points. I know I can make something to drive it onto and then lift it. Just wanted to know if anyone knows of straps or lifting assembly MADE for this. I will be doing this myself from a dock to the boat. Thanks.

You're going to put that thing on a boat? HA! I'll inform the Coast Guard. Where did you say the marina is?

Hmmmmm, lift points..... Handlebars and put a strap through the rear trunk rack. Or under the rear wheel. The centerstand is decent weight bearing. Is there some standard procedure foe lifting a scooter? Ah....foolish Earthling! So innocent and so unsullied. They're not that heavy and there is nothing easy about dealing with them. Truss them up and lift them.
