I'll second and concur with Jim. When I ordered mine, thru Jim, he did in fact keep me informed every step of the way. I did have couple little issues, but they were handled immediately and I was a happy rider. Qhen I buy again, guess who I'm goin thru? Sorry DaveC.... but we're out of business.

Be careful with that thing Dave. I had a heck of time keeping mine under 100mph.

Don't get me wrong, I've been riding for umpteen decades and I just never really cared for those monstrous bikes. I might as well be in a cage for all that. I love the power, but not the fact that it takes a fork lift and 2 grown men to lift the thing if it ever lays down on you. I like my bikes quick and nimble. I don't care to put my blinker on a mile before I need to get over just because I'm riding a tank.
And now folks, I'm going to contradict myself.....
But I LOVE all the storage you get on one. Every bike I've ever owned with the exception of my Nighthawk, (and it's time is coming soon) has had saddlebags and at least a big windshield or fairing. I ride mostly freeways so I loves me a good windshield.

I've done cross countries on my 1100 Sabre, and it was fine, but when on my 1200 Goldwing it was a lot easier. And this one will have a sidecar to prevent tipping. I still have a few bucket trip rides to do, and wanna do em in comfort. And, I apologize for hijacking this thread

I also apologize for hijacking this thread, but for the long haul I just can not understand why some take a scooter far a way from town. Davec you have the right idea with a wing and hack. I have ridden since 1958 uninterupted and even when I was young dumb and in a whole lot better shape a scooter or a 50 or a90 or 100 was just a around town machine. For 7 years before the majesty I rode a 1200cc bandit and was the best handling bike I ever rode but I never would have thought of touring on it. I had an 86 wing I bought new and that was for touring and by far the most comfortable bike I ever rode. In fact when I took it to the town I grew up in and went on some of the narrow twisting streets it felt as if I was driving a semi.
Each and every machine has its purpose and some people demand more than others of their machine.
