Have 11pole stator one wire not being used can I add a regulator and get the dc voltage i need to run the lights I am adding.

Light of a retro scooter big chrome light 1 bulb putting it on my pst150c icebear trike for more light have the x wire from stator but puts out ac voltage would like to have it run that light and any that may add later

Is there a way to put a regular on for that wire on the stator to get the dc voltage I would need to run the lights that are added

The idea of an 11 coil stator is that you can go primarily DC throughout the system. At least the one I did was like that. Run a red off of the positive terminal to a fuse panel and run your circuits off of it. Then just ground your circuits back to the frame or right to the battery. It should be able to handle whatever lights you want to put on it. Or just run a circuit right off of the battery with a switch and a fuse. I can help you with either of those scenarios but I'll need some specifics on the lights you're supplying. Any supply wire right off of the stator is AC and unregulated. You cannot use them for lighting circuits. I don't know what the "X" wire is. Rich

2014 pst150-c hay was able to run the wire from stator to a 2nd regulator got the 12volts out light is working good put a dimmer switch on it to.
