Haven't even crossed 700 miles yet, too soon for parts to go bad aside from defective parts. But you're right about the age of the fluid. I'll call the local shop and see about getting it flushed.

I like! Good ride! It hasn't overheated at all, usually stays almost pinging on the bottom. Last friday I took a long ride and managed to get it to the 1/4ish area.
There is a turn just down the street on the way home that I always had to slow to 30 to take on my old scooter, but I can stay up on 40 on this one. Handles much better.
Underseat storage is smaller, but I can work around that with my detachable scooter trunk, plus a folding backpack when I REALLY need it.
Seat is comfortable, and room for two. More power in the engine so I should be able to take two with no trouble.
The idle is lower than my old scoot. I keep thinking it's going to die out, but it never does. Low idle, but more dependable idle. The higher octane (when it finally empties) should help that.
I think I'll keep this one for a good long time!

Did I miss something? It was overheating wasn't it? What happened to fix it?
These bikes are made to be ridden with a slight forward stance. That's why it has the handlebars placed forward and tilted back just a bit. It's not a crotch rocket stance but the center of gravity should be a bit forward towards the dash with your feet forward as if you were about to stand up. That will vastly improve the low speed wobble that you were getting and markedly improve the handling. These are not couch scooters and are capable of being ridden aggressively. The big wheels and short rake are there for a reason, just use the dynamics of the bike.

It does overheat, sometimes. It never got into the red, but it was in close spitting distance of it. Seems to be either a LOT of riding, or highways speeds.
