That belt is bad and needs to be replaced. You can see cord in spots, that means it is worn and those exposed parts do not grab adequately. How many miles on that belt? Your clutch pads look fine. However, get some coarse sandpaper and scuff them up a little to get the glaze off. You don't need to sand them down, just gently hit them and the glaze will come off. Do the same to the inside of the bell. I'd like to see the insides of the variator. You'll need to clean it up and do not lubricate it. Well, we can use a little grease but in just a couple spots. I need to see your rollers also. Rich

i would imagine the rollers would need replacement as well,,,wouldn't you think good doctor?,,,if the belt has cord showing,,the rollers can not be too far behind

Well I rode it this morning getting much worse now. I tried to get variator off but no luck will have to wait for tool. The inside of the clutch bell is smooth a glazzed also

Yeah, he'll need rollers. I'm just curious how bad they are. That might be part of the problem, they're deformed and not pushing the pulley out all the way?
How many miles on that belt? Rich

Yep, new belt and new rollers and take the glaze off the clutch pads and you will be good for another 10K or so. Alleyoop

Just an update changed belt and rollers all is fine plus now with 1g heavier rollers I can now do 70 at 6000rpm
