I told you guitar,,,, say what you will about any brand out there, honda is the king,,, I think they make more motorcycles in a year than everybody else combined,,,, and that's not talking blatant patent violation honda pattern clones either,,,as a side I had the hots for another BMW r1159r ,,, but I've been eyeing the honda cb1100 ,,, man it's nice,,,, I may have to have one

My first motorized two wheeled vehicle was a Honda spree. It was a second hand, 1985 Honda Spree. This was my brothers but because he was almost three years older, when he got his 4 wheel licence, he stopped paying attention to his spree and basically it became mine.... I rode that thing hard.... Jumps, 3 to 4 people on the scoot at one time, etc etc... Basically, everything you shouldn't be doing, I was doing... But, when my 15th birthday rolled around, my dad bought me my own brand new spree. It was a 1987 Honda spree and this one I babied.... It's what started my attachment to twist and go scoots and I have thought about buying one just for nostalgic reasons. My dad has a gold wing that he's had since new and still runs like a champ!

I am not exactly sure what I am going to get but will probably be a old honda. I look some times 3-4 times a day on craigs list and other web sites./ I am getting lazier by the minuet and don't want a repeat like I ran into on that damn majesty. I could handle a big 2 stroke though....if only it had electric start!

The cb 350-400cc bikes are great ,,, strong and very reliable,,, can do freeway speeds all day long,, carry two up with ease ,, electric and kick start,,, honda made a few million of them so parts are all over the place,,, lite weight and good on gas,,, and if you can get over the " American frame of mind",,,, thinking that anything under a 1000cc is a mini bike,,, you're set,,, except for Europe and the U.S. 350cc. is considered a large displacement motorcycle,,,,

If you're into stepthru bikes a bimetro is a clone of the great honda super cub and is 110cc with a 4 speed manual with an auto clutch,, or an actual honda cub and sym makes a copy as well,,, almost got one of those myself,,,or you may want to consider a Stella 4t ,,, I'm thrilled with mine,,, also a 4 speed manual,, and well north of 100 mpg,,,,, I still wouldn't mind a bimetro ,, I was looking hard at it before I got my Vespa ( huge mistake),,, and it still is on my short list,,, or if I bump into a honda cub in one of my clients garage collecting dust I'll grab one,,, honda made 90 million of them,, I think I may be missing something if they sold that many and I havn't had one yet,,,,

I just found a very clean example of this machine on CL,,, 238 miles,,, the seller is asking $4900,,, doubt he will get it unless it gets snapped up by a museum or high end collector

Most motorcycles, then and now, are bought on a whim and then when the fun wears off they get tossed aside. Picked up cheap by some one that beats them into the ground and junks them.
