Them things do have a temper. I rescued one that was about 5 or 6 weeks old last year. After she was around 10 11 months old she would get pissed when playing and growl at me. I think it may have been a hormone thing and she was about to come into heat. When she bit me I put her out. Never to be seen again. I believe some thing got her as she had no street smarts at all with no parent to teach her.
