I purchased a scooter and it didn't have the wires that connect to the battery seems as if the wiresa have been cut.anyone know what those wires look like and what they are called and how much is the cost?? I am new to scooters it my first one.

if they were cut chase them down to where they terminate ,,,one will end on the frame,,that will be the black one (ground or negative) and the other will be the positive (red)and will terminate at the solenoid for the starter,,,measure the approximate length and you can get them at any motorcycle store,,or if you aren't in a rush check out any of the tile ads running at the top of the forum,,they should be able to help

So i need the wires and the connectors also?? Or do the wires come with tbe connectors?? The battery is needed correct to start the car??

Hope he got the scooter cheap. With out wires it wasn't running and if we have to ask about the wires, the rest of scooter obviously wasn't checked out.

Yes but that bad thing is i have no plastic molding for the front and it will be very super rare to get one.

There's a lot to a scooter then i thought haha but i will the way of the force . But once I get a battery and the wires to hook it up i will knw if the engine works. Hopefully she starts. Poor baby just need some TLC!

You can use battery cables from the lawn mower department at Lowes or Tractor Supply etc. For other wire you can get it at an auto parts store along with crimp connectors. You'll be making a lot of your own stuff while working on a scooter.
