Saw this on the cheap and decided it was mine. Need to identify the engine so I can find the vac diagrams for it. It's 150cc, has an auto enricher. I'm diggin the drilled ABS disk system. Anyone have more info on this engine for me so I can start doing maintenance with the proper tech sheets?

Hi, it's just numbers I am not familiar with so I thought it may be something different, but it's looking like a standard gy6 deal. Scoot is a jonoway yy150-12.

See if this helps. The number we are looking for will be on the bottom left front of the engine case and will probably be something like 1P57QMJ.

My EGR system and vacuum lines are wired slightly different on my model the bottom of the air pollution canister is open and I can't figure out where vacuum line goes to it.

Is it okay for the fuel line to sit on the rear shock?

I'm going to remove all of the vacuum system from the head, all of the canisters, gas tank, everything and plug it all off however it looks like I will need to keep the vacuum line on the side of the carb that pulls the diaphragm out is that the only one and should I just use the valve cover line to do that?

This is your crankcase breather. At this point the easiest thing to do is leave it hooked up to your airbox. Do not hook it to your carb.

Scooters don't have EGRs. That's exhaust gas recycling and they simply do not have the technology to accomplish that. They do have PAIR units which are Pulsed Air Injection Reburn. This simply pulses fresh air into the exhaust to try and burn off unburnt fuel. I believe I see that on your bike.
There's probably a line that runs back to the exhaust somewhere from the red arrow. If you wish to disable that pull the purple vac line off and plug the exhaust manifold. Your PAIR system may be different from the one in the pic. The other vac lines need to be there. You probably have a vac fuel valve where the vac line meets the fuel line. If not you have a vac fuel pump that a vac line runs to.

Ok got rid of everything now i need to know the factory carb settings so i can get this thing to start without starter fluid. It wont idle till warm and needs the airbox choked to run. Anyone know them?
I'm going to look for a tutorial on checking the valves as well to make sure i know what they are supposed to be set and how to do it. Looks like .004 and .005. Uhg its always something. My feeler only goes to .008. Time to go shopping.
