I know a 52mm piston will fit on a 139qmb, but will a stock cylinder and head from a 152qmj work on a 139qmb?

Actually, the 39 in the engine code means a 39mm bore so a 52mm piston will not work. I never thought about it but I'm sure a 150 jug will not fit on a 50cc case.

Where it is true that there is a 52mm big bore kit for the 139QMB, it is not the same as the 52mm piston in a 152QMJ motor. These motors are physically different and will not interchange. The cranks have different wrist pins and the pistons will not interchange.
