Oh it's too late.....you're part of this now. You'll get it fixed and then say "well that was cheap". And then you'll ride a while and think it's cool. We've all been there, there's no turning back, there is no escape now. Ah HA HA HA HA HA!!!

HAHAHAHA, it is not as bad as you make it out to be really. Once you have the carb adjusted right and the valves it should run just fine. If you go for the BRAND scooters you will not be able to work on it yourself and make sure you have a good paying job cause they take you to the cleaners for parts and labor. Plus you will have to leave the scoot at the shop and when its your turn they will get to it. So expect at least a week or 2 before they work on it. Alleyoop

Alleyoop I am planning on getting a motorcycle in about half a year.. I will keep that in mind.. also, I am planning on getting a job soon.. I prefer to work on stuff myself even though I'm not that smart in this area of work.

I will do that.. at least I'll try.. and this is a 4 stroke.. do the valves control the compression on a 4 stroke? After this I think the last thing I need to do is the fuel screw and the idle screw, and the scooter should be good for a while.

Yes correct on the compression on a 4 stroke, also the rings can be a problem but if the rings were shot it would be burning oil and throwing out blueish smoke out the muffler. Alleyoop

HAHAHA, no just cut a strip about 1/4-3/8 inchs wide about 3 inchs long and use that as a Feeler Gauge. The .003 inchs is the actual thickness of the beer can or soda can which is the thickness you want as a gap in the valves OR go to an autoparts store and buy a set of Feeler gauges that has .003 and .004 feeler gauges in the set. Oh you already have feeler gauges I took your previous post as not having any and where looking for some other way to gap them..LOL oh well. Yours is a 50cc so do .003 inchs on the intake and .004 on the exhaust or do BOTH to .003 inchs. Alleyoop
