Checked the kill switch and its fine.. when it started up that time we were touching stuff towards the back, the front was all closed up.. Well, the good thing is, when you un-ravel all the tape off the harness, you'll be able to dress it up with wire loom and fix all your connections. When I did an 11 pole stator upgrade recently, I went ahead and rebuilt the original harness because it was so screwy... Not one thing was soldered, everything was these small brass terminal clamps that held about half the strand of wires... In addition, the manufacturer cheaped out on some of the wires and I had 22 gauge wire (should be at least 18) for my main charging wires... So, it's a pain in the butt, however if you just dig into it and fix everything that looks jury rigged, your harness will likely outlast the life of your scooter. Good luck! Them gremlins can be a PITA to hunt down!

Well here is what you should check if you wiggle some wires and it fires. 1. You have TWO wires coming from the stator ONE is the POWER WIRE goes to the BOTTOM SLOT on the TWO PLUG on the CDI. The Other wire is coming from the PICK UP COIL plugged in to the TOP LEFT of the 4 PLUG. Then You have OUTPUT to the COIL WIRE on the TOP RIGHT on the 4 plug and the bottom on the 4 plug is GROUND. 2. Then you have TWO wires going to the COIL, one from the CDI and the other is the GROUND. So check those wires and connections also check the wires on the plugs that plug into the CDI many times people grab the wires to UNPLUG it from the CDI and pull out the connectors so that when you plug it into the cdi they do not make good contact. Other than that that is your FLOW of WIRES 2 from the STATOR SIDE and one From the CDI to the COIL. Alleyoop

After more tests and comparing to the 2010 model (that does spark) I'm pretty sure it IS the stator. I need help finding the right stator though. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

All fixed with a new stator, but it takes a long time to get started for the first time, then after I ride a bit, and stop it, it starts fine.

Check your valves, check your enricher, and clean your carb. Those are the primary reasons for hard starts. Also, since you have been pulling it off and putting it back on a bunch lately, check your spark plug boot, the contacts can get loose from removing and re-installing.

Great, the cold hard starting is just a fuel and air mixture not right. So adjust the carbs Fuel Ratio Mixture to get the HIGHEST idle AFTER it is WARM you may be running a little lean or rich and for cold starts the motors are picky. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Thanks, I will do that, but latley it's been starting a bit faster, the first couple times after I fixed the spark it was like a 40 second to a minute start, now its like 20 seconds sometime 30.

It should start on EITHER the 1st SHORT hit or 2nd SHORT hit of the start button. IF you have to keep on cranking it for it to start then it is NOT ADJUSTED RIGHT and NOT getting enough gas, that is why it takes a lot of cranking for it to fire. Alleyoop

Cover the Air Filter to cut off the air try that. If it has a air box cover the AIR INLET to the box with a piece of rag or if you can reach it with your hand.

Once I did the cloth trick, it started up and every time after that starts up fine, just over night it doesn't start.. SOMETIMES, if I do the cloth trick once in a while, without doing the card tuning, will that mess anything up? It drives fine.

It may seem to be running fine, but alley's test shows it's running lean. If you run lean at WOT for a long period, you could melt the piston itself, or burn up the valves, or any of a half dozen other possibilities. Lean is not safe on engines that run at high RPMs for sustained periods.
If you follow alley's tuning guide, all the way through including the test rides where you back off the throttle, you will have a good running scooter.
Be sure you don't have any old vacuum lines while you're at it, even a small crack can cause issues.
