Hi again! The kill switch on my yy250t only seems to prevent the scooter from turning on and lacks the ability to kill the engine if in an emergency.
When i have the kill switch on (the crossmark over the head set symbol) the engine won't start or do anything but light up the clock on the dash. Now when i have the switch off, my scooter starts instantly. However once the scooter is on and when i flip the kill switch on, nothing happens.

If you can get the kill switch to work in certain positions, that to me suggest your wires are good and that it's your actual switch, that is bad.

Yep. Tap the switch with a small sledge hammer, just hard enough to break it. Then replace it. Aghhh... replace it anyway. It's cheap enough.
