It was snowing when we woke up this morning and it hasn't stopped yet. It's now 1 PM. The weather man said >HEAVIEST SNOWFALL EXPECTED...7 AM TO 3 PM WEST OF INTERSTATE 65...< That's us.
As of now we've only received 7 1/2 inches of snow, and that's not in the drift's.

The wheel barrel to get the firewood into the habitat sure don't work in 7 1/2 inches of snow.
I love it when it's rough.
Like we say out west, "Get tough or die".

Yes we still have tons of snow the streets are dry but everywhere else piles of snow. Now we are just enjoying freezing cold and wind chills below zero(HAHA). But we are getting close now march around the corner..LOL

It's been the coldest winter I can remember here. We've actually gotten down into the 50's this year. It's forcing me to wear long sleeves in the morning. Talk about sacrifices...

The big ice storm missed us here in B'Ham and it's 42 right now as I write this. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 25 but tomorrow night it's supposed to be 12! I plan on riding to work tomorrow which really isn't that cold, my record is 17. I'd probably try 12 but I've already had a "discussion" with the wife about riding in those temps. She's probably right, it could be dangerous for an old fart like me. DAMN I hate saying that sh!t! I'm so old I fart dust.

I know you used to play cards with methusela,,, geez I'm ridin in tomorrow,,, should be down to 55 tonite ,,, brrrski,,, supposed to be 80ish again and then warm up for the weekend,,, I know I rub it in a bit,,, BUT I did do my time in buffalo,,,,that gives me a lifetime pass,,, my last job workin for the state part time I was the wingplow man on a gigantic 10 wheel drive auotcar dump/ salt spreader/ plow,,, I was the unlucky bastard that got out to check drifts that were across the road,,, so with snowshoes on I would check the drifts with a long bamboo pole that had a metal spike cap on the end for cars in the drift,,,, found a few old gals frozen stiff in their cars caught in the drift ,,, poor souls didn't turn off the car and gassed themselves,,, caught he!! too if I missed a car and the driver would wind that 10 wheel up and hit the drift doing 65-70 and there was a car in there,,, that thing would toss a ford ltd 100 feet ,,,, now when I want to see ice and snow I walk to the freezer
