And now, completely unrelated to scootin'..... The tiniest frog I've ever seen. Rained about 4 inches the other day, and these guys were all over the place..

I've told this story before and was told everytime I was crazy. Up in Toledo in about 1970 the sky got black as coal and stormed like hell. As the rain and storm was subsiding my brother (who you do NOT want to call crazy to his face) and I noticed it was raining thousands of little frogs just like that one..........VERY bizarre! My theory is that a tornado picked them up and deposited them on our farm. The birds had a good time scarfing them up. Rich

I remember way back on Waco Texas around 1955 or so we had a huge Tornado that wiped out most of downtown Waco Tx. My brother and I were standing on the back porch of our home and watched it rain frogs for 15 minutes! After the storm we picked up two 50 gallon garbage cans full dead frogs in the yard. Same thing, I believe they were picked up during the Tornado.

late 70s early 80's, one year in northern Illinois we had millions of then all over the place. I had a "pet" rescued fighting chicken as a kind of pet that said YUMMMMMM, I thought he was going to explode! he ran loose around neighbor hood most of the time and never had a problem with dogs as he had a very nasty attitude and died of old age. john
