Need advice on Scooter Trike By jimmybob479 (Read 8,700 times)

My new Zodiac has no hitch can parts be got to add on also it came with out a kick start or pull start can a earlier model be added on ? My new trike come's out from shop for it's PDI can't wait till shop opens at 9 AM.

300's do not come with a kickstarter and you really don't want a pull start I took mine off it loosen's the Variator nut and then you have more problems.
But if you can weld you can weld on a hitch .
Here is an OLD Triker that did many mods he was a fabricator and had the tools, he could weld and do everything so he did many mods.
He went by the name of WILDMAN he sold his trike and got into other things so he no longer is on here.

Alley, I'm going to give up trying to buy the Tornado trike I was telling you about. The executor of the state hasn't got back to me and I'm afraid the trike has sit to long.

Yes the plastic was starting to crack around the 4 bolts 2 on each fender so I had 4 pieces of Aluminum Diamond Plates cut so that it would not crack anymore.

I have some pics of differentials BUT which one does that trike have the INDIVIDUAL SUSPENSION or a STRAIGHT AXLE? I have pictures of both so let me know which one it has.

Actually no.
I've had to replace a couple rubber washers is all.

In 2012 Ice Bear changed the way the rear deck mounts to the trike. They added a cross bar and spacers in the rubber grommets for the screws. They also added air holes. This eliminated the cracking

Yea, more support helps the flopping around with only the 4 bolts on each fender holding the hold thing nothing in the middle section.

That kit is for scooters not a motorcycle. So It will NOT WORK without modifications to bolt the swingarm to the Morotcycle frame. It can be done but some brackets will have to be welded onto the frame to bolt the swingarm to it.

I knew there would have to be some modifications, my biggest concern Is the axle and frame work strong enough for the Bergman 400?

Alley, I found an exploded view of a 300cc differential on this forum but don't remember where.

I would not put that on a 400cc motorcyle, It will not stand up to the power of the 400. Here is the differential that come with the 300s and you can see how much beefer they are.
