Sorry bud, you have a ring or more going. The smoke is just a warning sign. Watch your oil consumption closely. Its going to have to be rebuilt in the next month if you ride it alot.
If i'm correct you will feel more air than normal and a little oil coming from your breather tube. As the problem progresses you will noticeably see oil coming from the breather tube. If its plugged into the air filter I would take it out and plug the hole on the box until you fix the problem. the oil will clog air flow and make running conditions worse.
Had it been a high milage engine you would be fine as were and tear is normal, but its not high milage. Something went wrong.

When you get a new scooter the first thing you need to do is drain out the shipping oil as part of a PDI and replace it with real oil. Piston and cyl are cheap, maybe $50 or so. Isn't the end of the world.

Well folks thanx fer the feedback..I put ring sealer in with the new oil(by the way this is third oil change..first was b4 I even rode it..second at 500 mi n this one at 1100)..so far no more smoke...it also runs just like it did..same rpm level..same giddy up..I really can't tell a difference..will look fer oil in breather tube tho! Will check oil level too. Also a lil more info..I had to come to an abrupt stop from bout 40 mph right b4 I noticed smoke from tail pipe..think mayb the sudden stop forced oil up into manifold n out pipe? ( just hoping/guessin)...will keep postin progress..gonna order new head kit anyway..its under warranty so won't cost much..just some elbow grease n a few scrapes..keep the rubber down n the wind in yer face

Chop the throttle and she goes lean I seriously doubt a ring could break on that fresh of a bore, tight piston to wall clearance and tight ring side clearance. sustained 50 mph then a throttle chop, I would think i scuffed the piston and that will scuff the bore also. Appears you sealed up something with the Motor Honey. That is telling you something. Lose the Mechanic in a can. Wish I had better news for ya bra.

If you do some reading and maybe a search you will find the subject of those carb screws has come up a half a zillion times along with instructions on replacing them with having to buy a new carb.

Well sounds like things are going in a better direction. When I stated you could have scuffed the Piston, This is not easy considering the engine is running in a bath of oil compared to a two stroke. But more probable than breaking a ring. Wish you well.

Ok folks changed oil..no motor honey this time..no smoke or noticeable decrease in compression or power..think the scooter gods have blessed me..ordered new 26 mm carb n intake manifold..figger this one comes w/correct size main jet..lol..also took breather box out/off n installed stainless air intake tube w/generic air filter..runnin ok but bogs down at lil past half throttle.. Hoping new carb will rectify..it still will do 50 very comfortably.. Very pleased w/Tao Tao brand so far..now to the headlights..will keep posting progress..keep the wind in yer face n the rubber down
