Hello all,
I just picked up a new to me Bintelli Sprint. The scooter runs fine but it was having an issue with the tail lamp. I purchased the new wiring harness and when I match colors up I can not get it to work correctly. There are three wires. Brown, green/yellow, green. I hook them up to the right colors but when I hit the brake the light goes out, when I take my hand off the brake the light is one. What am I doing wrong?

The Brown wire feeds the RUNNING LIGHT should have 12v with the key on or if your scoot has a light switch when on. The Green/Yellow is your stop lights when you squeeze the brakes it sends 12volt through the Green/Yellow wire, the Green is GROUND.

Can you explain the wiring of the bulb. There is a wire that goes directly to the side of the base (green on the connector) I assume that's the bulb ground. Then the green/yellow and brown go to the two posts on the bottom of the bulb.

Yes the green ground wire goes to the side of the SOCKET and then the Brown and the Yellow and green to to the two terminals on the SOCKET(not the bulb) The bulb goes into the socket.

Then the green/yellow and brown go to the two posts on the bottom of the bulb. I have the wiring diagram for my Bintelli Havoc. I think the wiring for the lights are the same. Bintelli has an online chat feature on their home page... You can always go to bintelliscooters.com/ and ask them for a wiring diagram... That's how I got mine... (The diagram didn't come colored, I colored it myself)

Thanks for the help guys. I got it working. My real issue was a broken brake handle. I fixed that and now everything works.
I took it out for my first test drive, everything sounds good. There's a dull grinding sound. I'm 99% sure its the bearings. I read the manual and it said to grease with white lithium....but I don't see how to access the bearings. Any thoughts?

Great, good job Bro. Which bearings the Clutch the tranny, the rear wheel the front wheel. The bearings are there but have to take a lot of stuff off to get at them the easiest is the front wheel and the tranny bearings. The rear wheel bearing is the hardest to get at because the wheel comes off the MUFFLER SIDE. Alleyoop

I knew you were going to say that. I just replaced the back tire this morning. Had it off with the exhaust. I'm going to putt around this weekend and try to pin point it. I'm just amazed I paid $80 for this thing and got it running in a day.
It only needed an oil change, new spark plugs, new bulbs, new mirrors, new brake handles, a rear tire, and a good cleaning.

There's many factors such as wheel size that effect top speed. I flux between 160~170Lbs and in between 30~40mph is what I've experienced on 50's And good job on the fix!

I live on the beach so I think wind has a lot to do with my top speed. Into the wind I'm averaging low 30's with a tail wind I've seen 40. I have a lot of draw bridges around when going uphill it struggles to maintain 25 but down hill....I've hit 45

The guy before me said he replaced the belt recently but considering he sold me the scoot for $80 to pay off a payday loan...I'm sure it wasn't a high quality belt. I wouldn't be surprised if he bought it at old navy.
