So somebody wrecked my scooter and now the electricals don't work (headlight, taillight, blinkers, fuel gauge, dash lights, etc.). What should be my starting point on fixing this problem? Thanks!

Check the Fuse, Follow the RED THIN WIRE from the battery and you will see a fuse holder with a fuse in it. Replace the fuse. Alleyoop

I only see one fuse by the battery, and that is for the starter, which works. Basically all of the lighting will not work. All of the lighting wires go into this black box, might be a CDI box (Not sure what it does). I'm not sure. Think that may be the problem? This is a Chinese scooter.

If you checked your main fuse, here's what I would do.... These scooters come with 3 harness's pretty much... One for the instrument cluster, one that goes on your frame ( your main harness) and one separate one for the rear bulbs.... If all that stuff went out in the crash, the first thing I would check, is the connections between your instrument cluster and main harness. Maker sure your connections are good... Unhooking those will produce the same symptoms you describe.... After that, I would do a visual inspection of the harness for areas where is was squished/smashed in the crash.... (Does your kill switch and start switch work??)

Could also be the case that where the lighting circuit gets it's juice could have came loose. Lack of powering your ACC's lighting (DC on with key) circuit, could cause what you describe as well....

Here's what works: Horn, Starter, kill/start switch, and break lights (edited)
Here's what does not work: Headlight, High beam, taillight, Blinkers
So yes, the start and kill switch both work to answer your question. Where does the lighting circuit get its juice?

Ok from your last post the fuse is good BECAUSE that fuse FEEDS the IGNITION SWITCH. Now from the IGNITION SWITCH When you turn the KEY ON it FEEDS 12volts to a BLACK WIRE which in turn FEEDS everything ELSE that needs voltage WITHOUT THE MOTOR RUNNING. Now without the motor running when you turn the KEY ON what should work is the BRAKE LIGHTS, HORN, TURN SIGNALS, STARTER and FUEL GAUGE and VOLT METER if it has one. ANYTHING else is a TOSS UP defending on how the scoot is wired.
Since you say BRAKE LIGHTS do not work BUT THE STARTER works that tells me that you should check the BULBS REASON is because WHEN you squeeze the BRAKES IT SENDS VOLTAGE to the SOLENOID and to the TAIL LIGHTS and since the starter works that means most likely when it was dropped the STOP LIGHT FILAMENT BROKE inside the bulb. So I would check the bulbs in your case. Alleyoop

He said his dash lights are out too... While it could be the case that every single filament on every single bulb was damaged, I doubt it....
MY guess is that your lighting circuit(s) isn't getting charged... When the scoot took it's spill, either some wires were damaged, or a connector came loose is my guess...
What is your exact scooter model, and year, I'll see if I have a wiring diagram and highlight the areas to check.

Ok, lets do a little test just for the BRAKE LIGHTS. Tape the brakes on and then go by the Tail light and Test the YELLOW AND GREEN WIRE for voltage. The Brake Switch when squeezed sends voltage to a plug from the plug 1 YELLOW AND GREEN WIRE send voltage to the SOLENOID and then from the PLUG a YELLOW AND GREEN WIRE goes to the TAIL LIGHTS to turn on the BRAKE LIGHTS. If you have voltage on the GREEN and YELLOW by the SOCKET then check the GREEN wire which is the ground and make sure it is attached if all good then the bulb is shot. Very easy to find the problem with the BRAKE LIGHTS since the SOLENOID works. Get yourself a 12v light tester makes it really easy to test wires that should have voltage. Just clip the ground wire to the frame and probe the wire you are checking for voltage if it is getting voltage the tester will light up. They are also only a couple of bucks at your hardware store.

Okay new progress update... So the taillight/break light bulb was broken, so I replaced it, and now the BREAK LIGHT WORKS when I turn the key on. Thinking now could the rest of the electrical problems be the regulator/rectifier?

I found a really good manual but I have not found a good wiring diagram yet.... Yes, it could possibly be your R/R, some scoots also have a separate light relay.... Here's a link to the manual (This is a 2005 but I bet a lot of it is real close) I wish I could find a good diagram for this scooter....

Could a bad regulator/rectifier cause all of the lights not to work? If I remember correct, as soon as it was crashed, none of the lights worked.

Im not 100% certain, but like 95% certain that what I highlighted is the plug that connects your main harness to your instrument cluster.... If that comes unplugged or interrupted, it will kill all the lights to your instrument cluster... Most of the time it's a 9 pin plug, but taking out the ground kills the whole thing... Have you verified the other filaments in your turn signals aren't damaged like brake light? These style of bulbs get taken out easy, but not the instrument cluster ones... They have tiny filaments and are pretty durable....

Ok, So I'm left to ask the obvious questions here. 1. Who is 'Somebody'? 2. Why did you give them the key? 3. Can they afford our services? 4. What's for dinner? And most importantly; 5. Why would you let your scooter date somebody you never met?
