Scooter had just gotten out of the shop was getting ready for my first ride. Everything was working fine. Lights good. Blinkers check. Horn check. But shortly after I honked the horn. I was double checking blinkers and they didn't work. I did my first ride with out them using my hand to signal. Today I got up and did some research. I opened up the front and the top of the cover's for the moped and tried to push any wires together if there was a loose connection. I started it up again and the blinkers still don't work. These are some photo potato quality sadly. imgur.com/a/pfhjO Can anyone help?

Sadly, I have the same problem just after a few months of ownership though i have a chinese scooter. Even though i have the part, the blinkers still dont work, so i think it's a fuse somewhere, but i cannot figure it out not being a mechanic. shops wont look at a chinese scooter so for years now been using hand signals. Hey!! am getting arm exercised!! this isn' much help but been seeing a of of scoots on the streets of San Francisco using hand signals. hoping you can get it resolved soon. those buddy scoots look very nice!!

The round piece is your BLINKER you can get a new one at an auto parts place JUST make sure it has the same number of wires yours does EITHER 2 or 3. They are 12v BLINKERS. Or you can test the wires at the BLINKER to see if voltage is getting to it when you turn them on. IF NOT then the problem is most likely by the switch could be a bad switch or wire disconnected there. Alleyoop

Learning how to trouble shoot using a meter will take care of your problems and the first step is buy a meter, and they run from about $5 - $10 and up. With out one the best you can do is guess and then buy the wrong part!

so true BUT i'd like to know where the fuse is leading to that part. i am now thinking that's the problem for my non-working blinkers, out now for more than 2-1/2 years of the 3 yrs i've had it!!

The blinkers do not have a dedicated fuse they are a very simple device. So if you think it's a fuse then your scoot must have a fuse box. Fuse boxs you will mostly find on 250s and up. Not to many scoots have a fuse box that feed different parts of the electrical system. Usually your 50s and 150s just have ONE fuse usually a 10amp on a thin red wire coming off the positive post of the battery. But if that fuse is blown then nothing else on the scoot will work because that wire with the fuse sends 12volts to the IGNITION SWITCH so that when you turn on the KEY TO ON it sends 12volts to the other electrical parts like the turn signal switch, light switch, brake switch etc.. Get a 12volt light tester like this one which comes in real handy finding if something is NOT getting voltage when it should. Very easy to use, Hook the black wire to the frame of the scoot and with the pointed end PROBE the wire that should carry voltage and the tester will light up. You can get both for under $10.00, if your going to own a scooter and do the work yourself you will save yourself a lot of time and money. Alleyoop

I was able to get the Flasher from the link you provided and the Blinkers work now so thanks . Another problem did crop up tho I was hoping you could help me with. I had taken apart the scooter previously to get the pictures of the insides. Taking apart the cable that connects to the speedometer took awhile. I had to be somewhere quickly and I used the scooter with out the cable attached. So while i was driving the speedometer wasn't working. Then half way coming back my main headlight (which had been flickering every time I switched from high beam to low beam) Just went out in the middle of the road. So my Light didn't work I tried to push connectors together if anything was loose, but to no avail. Is it possible its connected with the speedometer cable not being connected? Thanks again for any help it means the world.

You possibly loosened a conection taking it apart. The best way to trouble shoot is to get a meter. A test light is also a big help. Most of the testlights have an ice pick type probe that can be used to punture insulation to quickly locate the hote wires.
In the library here find a generic schematic to use as a rough guide and have at it. The flickering kind of indicates the switch being bad, but it could also be a loose ground or conector plug.
