Mornin Boys, I am going on a run this afternoon and might not get back till after dark. I went out last night, in the dark, and rode the trike around the property. The head lights are set for about 6 feet in front of the trike, I can't see nothing 7 feet in front of me. I am waiting for sun up to check out the adjustments on it. It might be an easy adjustment, but I thought I would do a search on here for any info I could find. (can't hurt) Nothing came up. Is there anything I should know? Any tricks?? Any advice??? It looks like if I get them adjusted correctly, they could work nice, the way they are set up now, I couldn't even see the trees or the hitching post. We have deer every where around here and they roam at dark. They NEED adjusting! (150 icebear trike)

Ohh boy, I just took a look at it, doesn't look easy. Which panels do I need to remove to get to the adjustment screws?

That is the adjustment screw at the bottom of the light package, right? ? If so, I think I will drill an access hole to put a screw driver through the plastic to make the adjustments. Ya know it won't be adjusted right the first time. I can plug the hole's later. It looks like the holes will be at the very bottom anyway. ****comments**** ??

After another look, I'm not sure that bottom screw has anything to do with the adjustment. I also thought that the back of the light housing MIGHT come apart after I found and removed 2 metal clips, 1 plastic clip and one screw, but it didn't separate.

I happen to have the headlight housings apart from my 2010 magnum. There is a sealant glue between the two halves. it is tough stuff took me a while to carefully pry them apart. Here is a photo of the back half. You can see the three adjuster screws. I'm not sure if yours are the same. Roy

That's it royldoc, Thanks a LOT! Mine has bolts and not screws for the adjusters, but I got it, or am working on gettin it. One more question for you, how many gallons of gas does yours hold???

They are 8mm hex head bolts but have a Phillips slot also. On mine I take the wind shield off then the center plastic and can get to the adjusters but it is a tight fit. I have the housing apart because I am modifying the projector to put in hid projectors. I cant remember exactly, but it is around 3 gallons. Roy

royldoc, I got them adjusted. I noticed that the right low beam is not as bright as the left. I pulled the rubber cover off the back where it covers the bulb and can feel the bulb, just can't really see it. How would I remove the bulb? do I turn it or pull it? The reason I am asking is it don't feel real strong and by time I figure it out it might be broke.

Depends on bulb type. The low beam bulb in mine is an H1 55w bulb. There is a wire clip that holds the bulb in. The high beam bulbs in mine are an H7 55w bulb. It also has a wire clip but it is a little different. The top is the low beam projector. it uses an H1 type bulb. The bottom is the high beam reflector it uses an H7 type bulb. Roy

but it is around 3 gallons. 3 Gallons per light fixture? Sweet. Between those and the regular tank you should get quite a distance before you need to fill up again.

lol.
It looks like the regular tank holds 13 L, that is 3.6 gallons, which means we get about 45 mpg. Not bad for the two of us riding around here. Out of every 20 miles, I know at least 3 are flat. Time to go for a ride.
