It's pretty hard for me to see the damage you are talking about. Too much contrast in the pictures.
If the new races will seat right in the hub you maybe ok. Just about any good bearing shop should be able to sell you bearings as long as the numbers are still there. Should there be cracks in hub it's over and you will be looking for a wheel.

Where is the speedo drive??? This is the side it is supposed to be on,,,,and it acts like a spacer this is the reason the bearing came out in the first place,,,you're lucky the wheel didn't grab that fork boss,,,it could have ended very badly

Speedo drive is on the other side. So there should be a spacer on this side? It didn't come with one. The new bearings popped in nice and tight. And seem to be rolling fine. billtrek
