HI guys, It will start and idle but when you try to rev it up to move it bogs down at 1800-1900 rpm. Can anyone point me in the right direction to track down the problem? Thanks Bill

Ok, I reattached the air filter. I also set the fuel to 2 1/2 turns. Wouldn't even start. Sorry it no longer has an airbox. I put a uni filter directly on the carb last summer. These are the pictures I used to check the vacuum and vent tube connections. too dark to take any pictures of my trike tonight. I'll try tomorrow.

After up sizing my jets I had a problem with the bike stalling a few days after I started riding it I replaced the coil, and the choke with new ones And then had trouble starting it. I checked the spark. Looks good and bright. Gas comes out of the hose after the gas filter when you hit the starter. Air filter is removed. Put the original 104 jet back in. Set the fuel mix at 1 1/2 turns from closed. Checked the vacuum hoses after checking with rapidjim. They look right. The vent hose on the head goes to a splitter connected to a hose going into the gear box area and a hose that use to go into the old airbox but is now just hanging back there open. It will start for a few seconds and then stall. Also if you try to move the throttle it stalls. Not sure what my next step is.

Hi Guy's Finally cut the screw heads off on my stock carb and replaced with allen head screws. I want to upsize my jets. They are marked JR35 and JR104. No idea what the JR stands for. I've upgraded the exhaust to the performance exhaust that NYC scooter parts sells. And have the UNI pod filter connected directly to the carb. Would like an idea of where I should start on jet sizes.

I take it back. I got the sprocket off the drive shaft and it does wiggle a bit. The splines were completely dry and rusty. It also looks like if I added a washer on the engine side it can be moved out a little to line it up.

Just checked the drive shaft holding the front sprocket. Doesn't move side to side. Doesn't move in and out. Seems pretty solid even without the brace.Which brings up the problem. How the heck can I line the sprockets up when there isn't any play left to move either of them.

13/16 was correct. Got the bearing out. and it needs to be replaced lots of rust in it. But I can't read any of the numbers on it.

Hi Jim, I checked the motor mounts. The bottom mount on the bracket to engine I was able to tighten about a half turn. Which is pretty loose. All others were very tight. What size is the nut on the drive shaft I want to take it off so I can check the bearing. 19 is too small and 22 is too big. I'll have to borrow one the right size.

Alley, I also went to the ice bear website and saw that in only one of the photos of the viking do you see the bracket adjusters on all 4 brackets. All the others have just the 2 center ones and you can see the empty brackets where they should be. I got the viking because it would be easier to work on without all the plastic body parts. I guess that was a bad idea. Not sure what I'm gonna do now the bike is not ride-able as is. Hopefully Rapid Jim will see this and chime in with some ideas. I won't be able to call him until Friday.
Hey Alley I did not put up any video's. Must be someone else.

Wow. If that's true I'm not sure what my next step is. The only thing I've done to it is replace the air filter and the front wheel bearings and a new muffler because the old one rotted out. Everything else is as it was when I got it.

I bought it from Jim at rapid repair. It came directly from ice bear.
