Well frustration has finally set in. I tried measuring from the crossbar shown in alleys picture but cant find a straight line to the rear end,the motor is in the way. Tried measuring from a bolt behind the rear footpegs and got it within 1/8 inch. But the sprockets still don't line up and the chain pops off.

Alley, That picture points out where I should measure from perfectly. Thanks. I'm still not sure what you mean by "you move the axle IN AND OUT to align it." I have the rear sprocket over as far to the left as I can get it. And it still doesn't line up with the front sprocket. It has 4 sets of brackets but only the 2 center ones have the eye bolt adjusters.

Alleyoop, I'm not sure what you mean by "moving the entire AXLE in or out on one side" Do you mean right to left or front to back? Also Is the crossbar your talking about for measurement the bar in your photo that is above the chain and sprockets? And you mentioned the drive sprocket has a "little bit of in and out movement to help with the alignment if a little off". How do you adjust that? And mine only has 2 eye bolts for adjustment. Is there suppose to be 4? That could explain why it's constantly loosening up. crwford, It's a 2014 Ice Bear 150 Viking As far as the drive sprocket, The bolts are on the outside. Thanks

Hi Guys, I was checking the chain tightness and noticed the sprockets aren't lined up very well. Which explains why the chain pops off when it's loose. How do you adjust the sprockets right to left to line them up? Thanks, billtrek

Sorry RKS I disagree. You should take the sidecar drivers course. I rode for 9 months before I took a course and I learned a lot in class. I was much more comfortable driving after that. And taking a quick right trying to avoid a car can lift the sidecar and If you don't know what to do you can end up crossing over into the left lane.

Lol. Yes RKS they do. Been riding all year for a long time. Haven't owned a car in ten years. Which can be fun up here in Massachusetts.

Nice Ural! I rode one for years. a 1998 Sportsman. It's great fun in the snow.
Blew the engine about 18 months ago. Haven't been able to replace the engine yet. Rode my Viking 150 last winter.

Hi Guys, I would like to get a brighter bulb for the headlights on my Viking. It's a dual headlight ruckus clone. With a 12v 18/18w bulb in each. They look like this: They are mounted in a plastic headlight so they can't be much hotter in temperature. Are led bulbs cooler running? billtrek

Speedo drive is on the other side. So there should be a spacer on this side? It didn't come with one. The new bearings popped in nice and tight. And seem to be rolling fine. billtrek

Got them. I thought $18.20 was a good price for EBC. Thanks Alleyoop.

Hi Guy's, Does anyone know what the rear disc brake pads are for an Ice Bear Viking. They are getting a bit worn and I'd like to replace them with some aftermarket ones. Thanks, billtrek
