So I have a Baja 150 CC Retro scooter and the fuel valve isn't working and I cannot find a replacement OEM part. Anyone have any ideas on how best to get fuel from the tank to the carb? I have looked at other bikes but not sure which one would fit. The OEM part has a vacuum system for shut-off. Willing to not deal with that if I could just get it to run.
The actual problem is that gas leaks through the vaccum system and into the cylinder. As you can image that has caused all kinds of fun.

That would work for shutting the fuel off but this one screws into the bottom of the tank so need a fitting from the tank to a fuel line. Or am I not understanding your intentions?

Hello,
Would you know which ignition components I would need if the machine just "clicks" when I hit the starter button?

Jump the two big terminals on the starter relay. If the starter spins, the relay, wiring or switch is bad. If the starter dosen't spin, the starter needs attention.

The clicking is your solenoid and normally if it clicks the solenoid is bad. Alleyoop While you wait for a new Solenoid to arrive you can start your scoot by jumping the SOLENOID. Turn the KEY ON and using a Screwdriver touch both terminals on the SOLENOID. Here is how to do it:

It will "click" if the battery is low as well,,check the terminals to see if they're clean,,,and put a trickle charge on it for the nite

I would vote for a battery charge too, if its been sitting for a while I would charge it back up first.

Ok, new battery fully charged and no change in behavior when I jump the solenoid.
Any other ideas on how to solve this problem?
