I have a booster pack, opening up the covers to get to the battery is a pain. I ordered the male plugs for the gerbings harness. When it gets here I will figure something out to get it to work quick. The more I thinking about it those little lithium jumpers got to be the way to go. Small enough to carry with you and take inside when you get where your going to stay warm and ready to use again. I don't ride in the cold any more but if I was I would own one, and I still may pick one up just in case. They say lithium isn't real good for batteries in vehicles used in extreem cold, but if kept warm they have a lot more zip for the size than lead acid batteries. Those who have them say what you do in extreem cold is to put the headlights on for a few minutes to heat up battery then start like normal.

One of the nice things about the battery warmer that I mentioned is that you only need to install it once. After that, you just need to plug it in which doesn't require removing the covers every time since the plug is left somewhere handy.
It makes it quick and reliable.
