Are the valves on a 150 adjusted to 004 done on a hot or cold engine??? Which is the best side to pull off to get to the valves on a ice bear cruiser?

I've been told to adjust valves with engine at operating temp.

There are some who don't measure, just listen to the click. Like those with a 250 honda helix clone engine where you do not even have to take the valve cover off.

You set your valves engine cold, I adjust my valves from the left side(CVT) side. I take the bottom side panel off and that is enough space to get your hands up there without taking anything else off. Alleyoop

I was looking for something like that. I'm thinking that I MIGHT not have to remove the side cover, but I bet I'll find out.
