Maybe it is just the motors vibration you are feeling, the motors do vibrate back and forth, which you should be able to see the mirrors moving a little bit.

Well mine takes 8oz BUT mine is a Trike BUT it has the extra case for the Reverse Gears so I misspoke saying it takes 8oz's for your regular two wheel scooters. Sorry I just think of mine at times and your right HALF of what mine takes which is 4oz. Alleyoop

If yours has the reverse casing on the right side like this then it takes 8oz, it is just like mine. No where else is needed the casing has a hole so the oil on the gear side that you are filling flows into the reverse casing side. Alleyoop

My Ice Bear 150 scooter (2 wheel) does the same thing, I can feel increased vibration when I hold the rear brake at idle. Idle speed is around 1600, and no, the wheel does not turn on the center stand. I just figure that with the brake shoes engaged, there's a more solid connection between the motor vibrations and the tire/ground, amplifying the vibrations. It's done it since I got it...

Yep I agree mine has a distinct vibration that is more if I'm at a lite with the brakes on

i'm not sure why but i get this too, always have. something about making the tire more ridged with the brake tight at idle and sitting still allows the normal vibration of the motor to be more pronounced though the frame. it has never caused a problem though.
