When I first twist the throttle my scooter is a little slow going. Once it gets up to speed it's fine. This wasn't always the case. Could I be bogging at quarter throttle? If so is it a carb issue?

What does it sound like? Are the RPMs coming up the same way they did earlier or is the motor staying slow and slowly increasing in speed? When a motor "bogs" it has a distinctive "bogging" sound.
Could be a stuck weight in your variator if the RPMs do not rise quickly when you twist the throttle...

The research I've done tells me I have a dirty carb. I changed to lighter rollers and I still had slow takeoff once the bike warmed up.

I cleaned my carb. I was expecting it to be dirtier that it was. Still not the bottom end I expected once the engine warmed up. I will look at my clutch next. Anyone know of a tutorial on 139qmb clutches? I havent gotten to that side of the transmission yet. Top speed is not an issue. I go as fast as I ought to. It's just the takeoff from a stop light that concerns me. The longer I run the scoot the more I have to fred Flintstone it.
