So 1 thing wrong with the scoot that was fine when I first looked at. The latch won't release to lift the seat up. The key turns. But I'm guessing the catch won't release. Any way around this? It's a 2007 Honda Reflex. Thanks.

Cable tip may have jumped out of the lever at either end or cable may have snapped,,,,,see if you can push the latch hook or dog with a slim screwdriver

Some times all it takes is some down pressure on a seat to get it loose when you turn the key.

Ok. I'm stumped. I got the back latch unlocked. But I'm assuming there's one a little closer to the middle of the seat. I can't see or feel anything underneath the body panel. Thanks.

Ok. I was able to loosen the one panel. I can see the lock turning inside. There's no cables attached.

Ok. I got it open. I took the air filter off. Jammed my arm up there. Felt the end of the cable. Tugged on. She popped right open. Now how do I hook the cable into the tumbler? Thanks. Mike

If it came unhooked that tells me there must be some slack in it. check and see if you can get some slack out but don't leave it totally tight.
if it did it once it will do it again unless some thing is different.
