according to the specs the power is at 6500 rpm so I'm not even getting there also I would think going uphill rpms would stay maxed out even if speed decreased?
I think I'm running 13g sliders with red clutch spring.. might drop them down to 12 or 11's?
also saw a cdi rated for 9100 rpms.. maybe the OEM in it is restricted some...

You could juggle weights,,bring it up some,,but these engines don't like to live above 7500 for too long

My trikes can do 70 mph but they are screaming my best speed is 55 to 60 and motor is OK with it. I have 14 gram sliders. You have a 150 cc you won't get much better without hurting you motor IMO.

I take it all back,,,a 300 should be considerably faster than these numbers you're putting up,,

Check the throttle while the engine is turned off to see when you twist the grip if it's opening the carb all the way

I would take off carburetor off and do a good cleaning and also check the rubber intake they are noted to crack and have vacuum leaks and under carb should be a spacer to let butterfly open all the way. If it's missing it could the problem spacer and carb have a o rings at bottom of each.

Gas coming out exhaust indicates the float valve is stuck open, should be easy fix. Usually caused by a hunk of dirt blocking the needle. Check that your fuel filter is working.-
If a tear down and cleaning don't fix it.....then get a new carb!

ya that's what I figured got some feelers out for a pumper carb to put on it then I can get rebuild kits in the future ..
I'm thinking that when I have to replace something to look for replacements from either generic or something like a linhai or Yamaha that is equivalent and readily available for parts...
ordering same quality from china seems to be a losing proposition...

parsonsj11 I've got one of Scrappydog's 30mm pumper carbs I ordered on a whim and and found it wouldn't fit my scoot. Brand new, never had gas in it. Not sure if that's the right size for you though... I'll sell it for $90 plus shipping if you want... PM me...
