I acquired a 2008 CFHG Moto in florida fust before heading back to Michigan. The moto is still in Fl but before leaving it would not start. It would run momentairly if gas was poured in carb. I didnt have time tto fool with it before i left. I was informed by previous owner it ran fine last year ( i understood tjis before purchasing) . I am going to be going back in Oct and would like to get a few ideas where to start. I would like to find a manual. I am sure there is many things it could be. Any advice or sources for info or parts would truly be appreciated. thanks

Sounds like it could be a fuel pump or the fuel line is blocked, maybe fuel filter. On this site in the library there are manuals posted for the CF Moto and Honda. I have a CF Moto, it is a clone of the Honda Helix. I can use the Honda manual, everything is exactly the same. Same with parts.

Hey thanks alot. I have an 11 HD ultra classic. To big to bop around town on so i thought this would be fun to run around locally. It only has 4000 miles and not to bad a shape for$100. Agian had it 2 days before I left to come home. Is it hard to remove to get to the motor. Thanks again and I will look for the manuals. New to the site so not quite up to navigating around but i will figure it out.

I don't think these things were built with being worked on in mind! Once you figure out how the plastic comes off, things get much easier. I sold the old HD because of back problems. This thing is a lot of fun, I love it. I paid $1300 for my '05. I didn't get a good deal, but I didn't get robbed either. I could have done better if I had shopped around a while, but I needed a second form of transportation quick. It gets up to 60 mph pretty quick, so I can keep up with traffic fine. Getting 65+ mpg, runs like a top. To get to the library, click on Home and scroll to the bottom of the page, there's a bunch of stuff there.

If you think their hard to work on try a jap made majesty 400cc. Takes an hour or more to be able to get at the motor alone. Probably 2 hours the first time.
