Trikers, As you may or may not know one of our Triker Friends Aileronjack is disabled and can only get around in a wheelchair. He has the Ice Bear PST150-9 Trike. So if he wants to go into town with his Trike by himself and stop and get a cup of coffe he can't. He has to have his wife follow him in the truck. So I googled for something that I thought might exist or for an idea to help Jack be more self suffiecent. And I found the following: YOUTUBE VIDEOI then emailed Jack and asked if something like the above would be of help. And asked if it would be alright if I had one made up for him using my Trike as the Setup Trike. He agreed and today it became a reality I will be shipping it to Jack Monday. Here is my Trike and the WheelChair Carrier. Alleyoop

One thing that sets this apart is the PULL STARTER on the left side, just forward of the carrier.
A perfect companion for the rider!

Hey guys, here's the carrier that Alley had his guys to put together for me. I took the chair and the wife for a ride yesterday. Working out great. I am doing the coffee shop one day this week; and am looking forward to taking the chair so I can get off the bike and go inside or sit outside and enjoy the great weather we have been having. Thanx again Alley!!

Thats Awesome ! One of the reasons I got into scooters was because Im disabled and hard for me to shift a motorcycle with a parilized foot! I got the 150 cheap then moved up to the 250cc and now already wishing I could have a Silver Wing or maybe a Burgman 400cc! Born to Ride Choose to Scoot! P.S And Blue is way faster and better looking! LOL

Al - I hadn't read this before but that is absolutely great work and a wonderful gesture.
Jack - Enjoy that coffee and the greater freedom!
Cyber - get rid of the delusions and come over to the BLUE side!

Side cars are expensive and the scoot has to be strong enough to pull the weight, sidecars are not light. If I was you I would sell your scoot and get a Trike and you would be better off just sit and ride like sitting in your room watching TV. I am also disabled from NAM got no left hip and 3 inchs short on the left side Have to walk with a cane. I tried a MOPED just to see if I could handle it with the left not good. Well I found I always had to stop and lean to the right because my left side I could not balance good and hold it up. Also since the hip is fused I cannot open my right leg out enough to get even on a BIKE. So I sold it within 2 months and then found the IB Trikes and it is great. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Sorry to hear about the disability but if you gave them all hell in nam no problem its worth it. That should be a blast that trike you ride and the gears must be really working. No wonder we change our gear oil all the time compared to cars. Trikes are badass but I love going into the turns so who knows.

Well I googled like crazy and nothing plain jane to just carry something all are the BUCKET type sidecars. Now they do make little sidecars to carry dogs those have more like bicycle wheel and might just be a better option for you A cooler with BREW and ICE weighs about the same amount like a dog(HEHE). You can get one and just beef it up if you want and even put on a smaller wheel. Alleyoop velo-city.org/sidecars/index.html
