so i have the 150cc gy6 engine ordered from amazon and its on its way. i heard the 150cc comes in 10 and 12 inches or something
my question is, will my stock qmb139 rim (think its 10 inches) fit the 150cc? because the engine doesnt come with the rim so i would need to order that now
thanks

"as he opens the can of worms." I doubt it. I think you will find a problem at every place you go to mount some thing. Then there is the brake for the wheel, that will also have to come from one designed for your new engine. 150cc engines were designed for drum or disc brakes and wheels completely different. and a disc is no real advantage on rear of a 150.

Dont quote me on this. But i dont think the gy6 150 has a rear disk brake. Ive looked at a bunch of resellers for this engine and none of them come with a disk brake set up.
But im thinking the gy6 50 10inch rim would fit on a gy6 150 that has a 10 inch rim right? Same engine model, same rim, both drum brakes

The thing is the drum brake is more than likely bigger on a 150...at least it should be. I may be way off track but almost every thing between a 50 and a 150 is similar but slightly different. As found with Chinese scooters they use what ever was available the day it was made. Some times just replacing a motor with the same gets to be a real chore.

The spline final drive shafts might be a different size too.
