Hello all. Need an answer form one of you great people. My enricher does not seem to be working, I had read on an old post here that it should get power when the motor starts. Mine gets power as soon as the key is turned on. Is that correct or wrong. Trike is a 2015 300cc tornado with the linhai motor. Thanks to anyone for the help.

my 3 2015 Zodiac's do the same so what are you asking? Are you have-ing a hard time starting?

That's the way it should work! After 5 min or so it shuts off the extra gas and the scooter runs normal. Same as a auto choke, as engine warms up it quits choking.

Seems to work in reverse. Hard to start cold with a very low idle until it warms up . The warmer it gets the faster the idle. Thank you for responding.

Thanks for the response. It's not doing anything so I checked for power, which it does have as soon as I turn the key on. However it sure does nothing to aid starting.

Try this when cold switch off kill switch crank it a couple of times turn it back on and try it again may need to do this a couple of times mine seem to start faster this way. I think fuel sinks back to tank after a while not running. I just got a couple a fuel check valves to see if my idea is right if so I will do it to my other 2 trikes.

In our library is a check for your enricher.
Basically you remove it when cold. apply power and watch for the little pecker to come out of the end that goes into the carb. What the little pecker does is plug up a small hole that lets extra fuel into the carb. (with out it the carb is in a choked or enriched mode)

Thanks. It would seem my enricher is not working. Took it out cold and it was extended already, pushed it back in to see if it was stuck and it just popped right back out. Guess I'm looking for parts.

Hello . I read in some old posts that Ally, you know who I'm sure, Had a manual enricher on his trike. Would you by any chance know where he got it ? I would prefer to go that route if possible, thanks.

I have done e bay and google searches for a manual one to no avail. I am going to try a bit more before I give up and order the electric one. The trike is for my wife and I just don't want any problems on the road. Thanks for your help.

I don't think you have a lot to worry about with the auto enricher, they seem to be pretty reliable and are easy to change if they do fail. I was always going to try to come up with one on my 150 or cobble up one but a neighbors dog ended the life of said scooter.
Much more Common on these scooters are the bad electrical connections and faulty mechanical mating up.
Have said before , I view these scooters as a almost ready to ride kit that we need to keep ahead on maintanance.

It had sat for over a year due to health problems of the original owner. Trike had 8 miles on it when I bought it, yeah you read that right ,8 miles. I drove it a 120 miles home with the four ways on because it had no taillight. Not really a good idea on I 95, trust me. The taillight was a poor wiring problem that I took care of along with fluid changes, fastener, bolt and nut tightening and some minor fix ups as well as overheating problems. I am confident enough with it to put my wife on it now. I really appreciate the responses from everyone here, many thanks.
