Live on Daytona Beach, and had a family emergency over the holidays. we were gone for a couple of weeks and when I got back I went to start my trike and it wouldn't fire. I turned thr kill switch back off and on, and it started to fire and didn't start, so I began to flip the switch off and on and finally it started up and ran at idle for about 10 or fifteen minutes. It was running smooth so I shut it off and tried to start again and same problem. I played with the kill switch some and every so often it would try to start ( start to fire). Well I checked everything in the ignition circuit. I removed the kill switch and if I play with the disconnected wires, connecting and disconnecting while engaging the starter it will fire and sometimes start but when I shut it off it won't start again. I've cleaned all connections because of corrosion from salt air, but no solution. Any Help is appreciated

Sorry for not answering been away for a few days. Death in the family and leaving for funeral. I have a 2012 ice bear trike 150cc. If I play with the kill switch it will start to fire sometimes it will run but when i shut it off it does the same thing. Being on the ocean does a number on the trike. I think I have a bad ground somewhere or some bad connection. Anybody have a problem like this. I swapped out the cdi and still the same.

I would think the problem is in the switch you were fiddling with,,, perhaps its corroded

Have to agree. Sounds like the kill switch is where the problem is.

Hey Guys, The family issues took quite a bit longer than anticipated. I am going to get back into the trike electrical problem starting tomorrow. I will let you know what I find. Thanks, Ray
