New to me xingyue ita 150 Rust in the cylinder. Can it be removed or do I need a new cylinder?

Bore looks pretty scored below the rust line too,,, it's a paper weight as far as I'm concerned,,,, it's amazing to me how people treat their stuff

I talked to scrappy dog and they said I should buy the kit for the gy6b 200. With that and the head I'm once again in if for more than I paid for it. On the upside I'll have a 172cc scoot.

At least the parts are very reasonable,,, how's the crank look?,,, drain the oil? Any water in it?

Update Per another forum member who may or may not be in this forum too...I forget, I an soaking the cylinder in vinegar. The crud seems to be coming off. I'll clean it, give it a hone and see how it looks. If it doesn't work I still have the 61mm kit on order

I got it honed and the machine shop didn't charge me. I may have just saved 84 bucks on a bbk
