Could someone please point me to where they think is the cheapest quality parts, As well combined in one site. Some of you have been doing this longer than me and probably know of the best place. As well that I can order from, Not a local pickup lol... Feel free to stop reading this just talks about repairs; RantishI am currently having a meltdown with current updates. My scooter was manufactured in 2008. And as you would imagine this scooter is finally calling for some updates and repairs. The worst imaginable is the fact I have to figure out what the cause is to make my entire motor to have minor rocks the way it does “I guess a motor mount of some sort” I could be going crazy but the rear end looks as if it has drooped lower lately? I just replaced the rear scooter tire and as well the CVT belt “ 77.97 grand total 'That's why I could use some help on this'“. Next I have to replace the carburetor 'Mainly due to the jets. I would prefer a better brand or just bypass it with a jet kit for now'. Also the entire carburetor area on a rainy day gets soaked, causing the engine to appear to not run as efficient, I would like to assume a bad gasket maybe the intake manifold, BUT! there should be a piece of plastic at the rear wheel to prevent that. 'Good thing I do not have a K and N style air filter, Talking about a night mare that would be'. Something has gone wrong with my front lights, Ones out, and the other lets out a nasty steam on a moist day 'I am guessing some type of weather guard has deteriorated or something has gone completely wrong, Or they are just old, Or the fact there is more power to the other one as one is out'.. The front breaks calipers are seized… I actually removed the break pads for temporary time being.. FML.. I would prefer to just order a new one mine is the original and their is no brand I bypassed the disc brakes as I have to go to work to make the extra money to repair it, As well on my own. I am very sure there is more repairs and updates needed, There is a guy that I can contact to properly install a bore kit. I might do that near the end to allow him to inspect everything else as he goes on. A rebuild might be needed by now… Wouldhelp prevent a future nightmare.. This scooter has been faithful to me, I plan to update this scooter and not just replace it like most individuals have been saying. I have faith that you guys could help me . *Feel free to think I am crazy for not buying a new scooter as I think it is not needed...

Parts forscooters, scrappydog, and if you do some reading you will find a few more. Sounds like you are getting close to The point where you might be better off with a new scooter. I take it you let it sit outside in the weather. We can't tell you what to do but before you put any more in it if it was me I would total up every thing that you think you will need and then decide what to do.
There are a lot of parts that they all need eventually. Manifolds dry rot and crack, not expensive, lights and wiring and the connectors going to them go bad quick if left to the weather. That caliper needs to be replaced if you intend to ride it, 85% of your braking power is in the front brake! On that it might be best to get a matched set master cyl., hose and caliper.

I attempted to create a simple video of the engine rock, As well how the rear has dropped. There seems to be a squeak on the left side, Not sure if that is a lead when I allow the engine to rock. As you see the rear tire is resting on the ground. And the full kickstand has a odd angle that I have never seen on any scooter, Not even a geely .

Maybe its just me but I can not tell at all what is going on in the video. scooter needs to be on solid level pavement not part on grass. Looks like the kick stand as well as center stand are in use. Camera is waving around as much as scooter is.

I will make sure to get back to that tomorrow : )
Sadly everything I was doing was viewable with my eyes, But on camera it just wasn't : /.
Maybe, Maybe not; It might be my rear shocks... Sadly their is no method to adjust them,...
But once theirs is more light outside tomorrow I will make sure to attempt to capture a good video with my phone : )

Seems there is a torque mount/ Motor mount gone bad
When applying the full kickstand the engine comes way to high and starts grinding across scooter brackets.
On the full kickstand the bike is ready to fall over.
when applying throttle the front end of the engine jerks way to high.
When hitting 100s of bumps to work everyday I have a bad feeling somethings about to go down 'Me'.
That's the best I can describe it.
Watch from the 35 sec point to 41

ok its simple, your 50cc engine mounts to the rear shock could be 1 or 2 (can't tell in the video) next the bottom front mount is part of the center stand that slides into a bushing in the frame again not seen in the video. Its like the video of the light not on one minute of focus on the light thats off, they don't show the switch that is in the off position.
John I agree about dizzy .

If you would either get some one to hold the camera still or put it on a tripod back far enough so that the whole or at least most of the scooter is in the picture....then go over to it and move it around we might be able to tell some thing. also "full" kick stand? There are 2 stands on your scooter. the side stand and the center stand. I have changed the rubber mounted bushings on a 50cc scooter. It kind of sounds like that is what might be causing you grief. Not complicated to change but is a bunch of work. If you are riding with them bad and a bad caliper you are going to get hurt if you keep riding it. The caliper is an easy repair, for many reasons the way to go is to get the whole brake system. The master cyl. on handle bars, the hose, and the caliper. If a caliper freezes up the rest of it is going to be bad as well. Mostly caused by contaminated fluid and only thing good might be the brake handle. Expect to spend as much as $75 for every thing. This is mostly caused by leaving a scooter out in the elements. For the bushings change I had to make a tool to press them out and to press them back in. It consisted of a large threaded rod, big washers, nuts and a socket out of a set slightly smaller than bushing. Scooter was laid on it's side to work on and then on other side for it"s bushing. For bushings I think it might have been around $10 each..

I can not really have anyone hold my phone while doing this.
The only one that could would be my mother, and she is handicap 'Would not work out well'.
After a few more inspections to the rubber mounted bushings it appears to be decaying. So I would like to think that would solve my problem, The entire front end of the engine rises on takeoff......
The scooter has always sat under a carport, Not sure if the weather is somehow affecting it. But if anything having no choice but to drive home in terrible storms/hail/hurricanes probably did a terrible toll over all of this time.
I am starting to think that this is a basic problem when Chinese scooters turn a decade old 'literally happening'.
I have taken very good care of this bike until everything randomly started one after the other, Well basically all at once.
I have failed to find information on what to do when a Chinese scooter gets this old and what you should do, Seems these Chinese scooters were never designed to last this long from what the Internet is telling me, odd.....
After all is well; I suppose new rings as well maybe just get an entire kit/bore kit properly installed would be a great idea, I'd hate for something terrible to randomly happen.

I am as guilty as a lot of people in the not changing brake fluid, but it should be done regularly. When it goes bad it not only effects the caliper but the whole system.
If you carefully lay scooter on side on card board or an old blanket getting the weight off the wheels then grab the back wheel/engine and wiggle it around you should be able to see what is loose.
For what it's worth tape can hold a phone in place for a steady picture.
If your scooter is running ok other than the 2 problems you have, forget fixing what isn't broke like rings etc.
There does come a point where it is better to replace the whole damn thing and you determine that. The new scooters that are coming from China seem to be a bunch better than those made around 2008. Some one who has done bushings before with proper tools could expect to replace both in about an hour. First time with out proper tools is a bugger.

I kept looking for the geese I heard in the first video It does sound like some new bushings and grease are needed. Also, definitely get some front brakes and I hope you wear gear (protect that noggin & flesh) in case the unfortunate happens. Better carb, go with the Kei Hin. The "droopy backend"...maybe some new shocks are needed. Looks like you are also missing the kick start assembly. At this point, with the state of your scoot, you have to decide what's right for you...repair or replace. Yes the Chinese scooters have their quirks, but as with most things proper maintenance goes a long ways. Whether you repair or replace, consider a cover to protect it from the elements Parts for Scoots is good. I don't have first hand experience with Scrappy Dog, but do have a look at www.get2itparts.com since you mentioned buying all your scooter parts in one place.

So my problem has been found. The bushing for the center stand has decade over the past 9 years. The metal piece that comes outward and engages onto that bushing the metal piece itself has snapped, It's like a metal flat plunger. I have no clue what to call this device, But the pipe that has been snapped, So the bushing is the only piece I need to replace as well if I can get just the pipe to replace, If not I know of a welder, But his price is a little to steep. I suppose this is why the rear looked like it was dropping overtime due to the bushing deteriorating, Resulting with metal on metal. Resulting in a brake. Could someone help clarify me on what I need to order? and what could possibly be excluded? Thanks Pst duckey I removed the kick-start as over the years the spring managed to stretch. I have all of the parts I just have not found the time and energy to replace that spring. That stretched spring causes the kick-start to drop and stay dropped while driving over many bumps causing issues.. Just something that got in the way while paying/repairing other repairs. I have not really been to worried about the small time stuff
