My output shaft, that the wheel should attatch too is far too long. The threads aren't long enough in the first place to tightnen the rear wheel on, but it's about an inch and a half too long. This is on a new engine I've just bought online from scrappy dog. Any ideas? I have two other engines for parts, so I'll take one out of one of them, but I'm sure it's not going to be the most enjoyable to have to do.

Personally if I ordered and paid for an engine, I would expect it to be exactly what I ordered. If not it would be going back. Call ScrappyDog and see what they say before opening the final gear case.
