Hi all! Recently got a 2017 taotao powermax 150 and after a while I noticed the exhaust sounded off. Looked under my scoot to notice the manifold over the carb has no nuts attached to the bolts and air has leaked out. Any advice?  |

New nuts, gasket and red locktite, maybe even some lock washers. Dont over tighten the nuts..about 1/4 turn past snug. Dont over do it with the locktite either, a couple drops should do it.

Try double nutting with the lock washers & LocTite.

This is the item you need.. link. I have never lost one, but I do have a lock washer under each, and check for snugness at every oil change. Don't believe you'll find Loctite to be effective, considering the temperatures reached in that area. |
