I've had my footrests off so many times that when I go to screw the plates back on, the screw holes are stripped which make the screws loose. Any ideas on how to fill the holes with some material that I can fill and drill ?

I wonder if you could epoxy some anchors designed for putting metal threads in wood? for wood you drill hole then pound in the threaded device, it has a washer with some teeth to prevent it from turning on one end. if installed correctly you would never have to worry about stripping out again. could even use some polished brass screws for some bling then john

If they screw into plastic can you just use a little bigger screw? That's what I did on mine and it worked fine till I demolished it by going naked. If you mean the metal bolt/screw that goes into the frame, that stripped out on me also. I got some long, smaller diameter bolts and passed them through the bolt holes and caught the other end with a nut and washer. It's amazing how soft the metal is on these things, probably lead based... . That's me having a neurological reaction to the lead. Rich
