I’m doing my homework on the bike I’m wanting to get but I had a few questions about it . The bike I wanna get is the icebear maddog 150cc generation 2 . Yes I know it’s a clone of the Honda ruckus it’s really nice either way and it’s cheaper. I’m looking into this bike because I want it as a daily ride For work and school . I weigh about 118-120 pounds and I’ve been told it’s go about 60mph which is good . I wanna know if it’s true or not cause I don’t wanna waste money if it’s not gonna take me on highways . The engine 150cc is supposed to go over 50+ mph but depending on weight. Also it has a thick 12inch rear tire , would that be safe or would I get flats on the daily ? If anyone knows please let me know ! Thanks 🙏 Zane .

No it's not good for hyway riding,,,,it's probably illegal anyways as most states have a minimum cc requirement,,,,get a 250 or larger

Michigan it is or was 125cc on the interstate before they upped the minimum speed but if I had to be pinned to do 70 mph it's not something I would suggest. If you have the option to use byways that top speed is 55 to 60, I would use those or the city to commute.

Typically stock 150cc bikes do between 50-60mph top end. Theoretically 60mph sounds like enough to hop on the freeway, but if you hit any hills, you could easily be back down to 45-50 with no way of going any faster until you reach level ground or a down slope.
With the way freeway traffic tends to be & speeds many people go, personally I’d want something that can do at least 70 and would prefer 75+.
