Scooters,especially chinese scooters,need the oil it needs,not the one most say online is the right one.I want to break that myth publicly,i'm sure everyone needs to hear what i have to say.It has taken me time and money,but finally the results are in and many,even the skeptics and the curious ones will be surprised with the results.I want to share some of my thoughts with you on my personal results on my scooters.I deliver on a gy6 150 cc velocity chinese scooters.i bought it brand new almost 2 years ago.it has over 15000 miles and running stronger than ever,i work 40 hours a week on it,deliveries back to back in hot florida.From 11 to approximately 1.30 pm,five days a week my scooters don't stop,literally,with lots of idling at the lights,and stop and go as well as varying the speed and revvying it very often.it took me 3 intensive years to find affordable solutions for chinese scooters.Every one must listen to me.This is my free gift to all scooter riders,my gift to the intermational scooter community and my contribution and thankfulness to Many Scooter mechanics who like me understand how tough times are for some ,nowadays...Thank you and one big love to you all from the sunshine state,where even the toughest oils break down, in a couple of weeks or less.Thank you all.Protect your engines,live to ride a smooth chinese scooter.Chinese scooters are not bad,Fake mechanics who pretend to know and can't even make a scooter run smooth,as when it was brand new are bad.Are chinese scooters really bad or do most so called mechanics suck?

The myth of bad Chinese scooters started a long time ago. Let me tell you this. My Eagle Milano is turning ten years old the end of July. It came through Peace scooters from Bashan and I bought it from GS Motorworks. It still starts every time, will run at 45 mph all day and it starts every time. Supposedly the 2008 types were alleged to be junk. Not in my experience. It only has 9700 miles because it's one of seven bikes in my care. I shake my head at some of the things people have claimed to be problems. Mine has original gas and vacuum lines, tire valves and all the bulbs. Of course everyone says, "You must have one of the good ones". Nah. It's just that my scooter has an owner who knows what to do with a machine to keep it running.

Most of the things you hear on these scooters are true, you can't just put it together and ride it for a long time,and expect it to last. You need to get rid of the crappy factory oil and gear oil right away. The tires are normally a cheap nylon compound, the drive belts are garbage, the rear clutch spring usually fails right away, the wiring is crap,factory bolts are often all loose. None of the light bulbs on mine were good, the China battery is junk, you have to do a lot of work on them initially, I'm a good mechanic, and an automotive fabricator, and I was ready to set mine on fire, in two months, I had multiple bad cdi's, broken wire connectors, failed stators, failed pickups, a flywheel where the dam trigger came unwelded,and fell OFF , a leaking tank, a bad fuel petcock, a broken rear clutch spring, and a shot drive belt,at 200 miles. If you aren't a mechanic,don't buy one

If you own anything on two wheels it is vital to have mechanical understanding. Everything you just said points out the problem with American importers. They called on Chinese manufacturers to source the cheapest components and hardware to make a quick buck. Almost all of those distributors are out of business now. Ten years ago we advised people to buy their crate scooters from GS Motorworks because they didn't use junk. Today they are still in business and are the importer and seller of Tao Tao, an inexpensive scooter that all but rules the 50cc class in sales. Bintelli, Wolf and Lance are the best choice for inexpensive scooters. They just plain work and their importers are doing all they can to gain customer satisfaction. www.lancepowersports.com/onelap.html

Bintelli and Wolf are made in China. Lance (SYM) carries a Taiwanese designation.
