This isn't about a scoot version of the Can-Am Spyder!

Monday morning was wonderful - sunny, cool - great for riding. I had some errands to run so I took my scoot. I got back and parked it in the front driveway.

I did some weeding and transplanting and other yard work. About 2 hrs later, I saw my neighbor out front and walked over to say hello. When I walked back, I saw that some hard working little spider had spun a web all around my scoot. He had it from the windshield down to the handbrakes, back to the seat, from there to the saddlebags and then the same going back to the front on the other side.

I showed my wife and my other neighbor and we all got a laugh out of it. I felt kind of bad wrecking all that work.

would have been some cuss words spoke had it been my scooter. I hate stuff that bites. almost got a copperhead about 20 feet from the driveway on the way in last night about 10:00. What I usually do with them is go slow and run over them with front wheel and when I feel the bump lock the back brake and shred them. he was too fast and close too the ditch last night.

Very nice Larry.......you DO realize that in spider terms that was two years of work. He probably went home and committed suicide, with his own venom, cheaper that way. Or hung himself with his silk. How do you live with yourself? You should have parked the scooter until he was done with it. Rich

I did leave the scoot there for a couple more hours. I never saw him so he must have moved on.

Maybe it was going to come back and eat it later , but didn't really like Chinese cuisine and found a Vespa down the street and liked Italian better. ;D

Actually the Xpeed is Korean so maybe he was looking for kimchi!
