 i have recently installed a new crankshaft and 72cc kit on my 50ccGY6 Qmb139 four stroke engine. while i have it running it won't idle properly and after about five minutes it starts making a whirring then screeching sound the seizes til it cools for a few minutes ! i'm thinking oil issues can any one help!!

it comes and goes ! when i split the cases and scraped off all the gasket residue, could tiny pieces clog the pump, i tried to clean them
out the best i could!

K took it down to where i can remove the oil pump and the plastic oil pump gear wont stay in the teeth on the crank gear!!ITS like its thr wrong gear or something ! the old crank looks just like it though WW???HELP???

Bought it from scrappy dog scooter parts! i gave it up for the evening ill count them tomorrow!

Cranks and sprockets are the same ! Why in the heck won't they mesh??!!

Got figured out ! they sent me a crank for a Znen scooter which uses 22 teeth on the oil pump sprocket. sent it back and exchanged for the crank with the 16 tooth sprocket!!!RIDIN' AGAIN SOON!!

Glad you got it figured out! I have done several BB kits but never ran into that problem.
Its always a good day when I learn something new.
